Shoebox Item List

This will be an extensive list of things that you can include in your Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes. Obviously, not everything fits, and not everything may be within your budget. I suggest you pray about your boxes before and while you are packing them, for the items that are going in and for the child who will receive the box. There have been cases where some things that may seem odd, like packing both boy and girl clothes, have come to be what was needed, as in the boy/girl clothing box, when the received box was given to a pair of boy/girl twins and it was the last box available.

Another important thing to add in your shoebox is a letter from yourself or your child, as well as a self-addressed and stamped envelope, in case the child wants to write back to you. On the internet, there are some sample letters such as this one and this one, but you can always make your own.
